Born & raised in Hutchinson, Ks. I accepted the call into the pastoral ministry in 1995, after working at U.P.S. for 11 yrs. & serving as a youth leader for 4 yrs. I graduated from Okla. Baptist Univ. in Shawnee, Ok with a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministry. I received my Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth, Tx. in 2009. I pastored two churches in Oklahoma (Sparks & Little City) from 1996 to 2003; then came back to Kansas pastoring a church in Washington, Ks. for 9 yrs. before coming to FBC Belle Plaine in the summer of 2012.
I have a wonderful wife Donna with 3 great children ages 27, 25 & 22 yrs and two daughter-in-laws in which we are so glad to have added to our family. I love to fish, hunt, enjoy watching basketball more than playing it now & seeing people coming to & growing in the Lord.
My desire is to serve the Lord in whatever capacity that He desires for me to serve: in spreading His gospel message to those who are without His eternal hope, to help make disciples in His reflection, grow His body here in Belle Plaine & beyond, & teach God's word as the only truth that we are to live by.
